Artist Statement:

Art helps me to create a small part of the world. With a deep sense of selfish all of this I do for personal satisfaction, I do it for me. But what is not given does not exist… Always with a pencil in hand, sketching, with multiple ideas rising from doodles, thoughts, photographs, dreams, memories… always listening to the birds that sang in my head; those are transforming into other, When a spark seduces me, I then developed it into a finished work, with a technique in constant process of research, experimentation and learning that never ends. My work is figurative form but with imaginative content. Always looking for impact. My favorite word is "ineffable" ... 

Bio:

Moises hergueta was born in Cadiz, Spain. Has been painting since 80, parallel to his profession as a teacher( is imparting classes of subjects relating to drawing and painting for the counselor of education and science of the board of Andalucia since 1990). Has done various works for third parties as posters, advertising, decoration of establisments, murals, artistic labeling of vehicles and musical instruments, disk covers, clothing design, ephemeral architecture, etc.
