 Kennedy McCarthy is a local artist in Madison Wisconsin where she currently lives and works. She was born and raised in Minnesota and only came to Madison four years ago for her undergraduate degree at University of Wisconsin Madison. With a concentration in ceramics, specifically wheel thrown pottery, Kennedy focuses on producing functional objects intended to bring joy and happiness to life's everyday rituals. Everyone has their favorite mug to drink their morning coffee from or that special bowl they absolutely must eat their popcorn from on movie nights. Kennedy constructs her ceramics pieces with the intention they one day become those unique objects so treasured and meaningful.
