Artist Statement:

A quiet appreciation for the things that never change. For everything we go through, death, celebration, the start of a new life. The neon lights of the gas station still glow and the streetlamp will still hum its subtle buzz. The imprint we leave on the world remains a moment in time that can never be recreated. In the reflection of those moments I tend to feel nostalgic, quiet, and somber. The long walk home to my apartment is filled with appreciation for the unique world I have created for myself.

Blind to the moment until it becomes a memory, I seek to string together a visual map of self identity. The places I’ve been and the people I meet are direct influences on who I am as a person however don’t reveal themselves to be such until it becomes too late.
